The equipment is very good, and I love it... The only disadvantage is that the real weight is 25% less than what is indicated by the machine. I am a little bit disappointed because I have reached the weight limit in several exercises.

What happens when a Speediance goes wrong.
We quoted their unhappy customers above, so it is only fair to show ours. These are not our best reviews. They are the ones where something actually broke, because that is the moment a warranty either means something or does not. Every one is a public Trustpilot review, linked.
Early Nov I had an issue in that it would not turn on... The engineer was booked for the 21st Nov, parts arrived that day and all fixed within an hour, some parts didn’t need replacing but were replaced as a precaution... At this price point the service needs to be as good as the product and on this occasion it certainly was.
Scott Miller, United Kingdom, 5 stars, 18-month owner, December 2025 · TrustpilotI contacted the Speediance support team on a Sunday, expecting to wait days for a reply. To my absolute surprise, Andrew from the support team responded within hours on the very same day! ... immediately arranged for a replacement driver board to be shipped to Germany under warranty.
Frank Fiedler, Germany, 5 stars, June 2026 · TrustpilotThe screen got stuck in a boot loop... They first provided a firmware recovery solution and, when that did not resolve the issue, immediately arranged a replacement screen under warranty. The replacement screen arrived quickly, installation was straightforward, and my Gym Monster 2 is now working perfectly again.
Benjamin Voß, Germany, 5 stars, June 2026 · TrustpilotEven though it was the end of the year, he arranged a brand-new display that arrived within just 3 days. That level of customer support during the holidays is truly impressive.
Gabriela Dhillon, Germany, 5 stars, January 2026 · TrustpilotEven though the warranty had already expired, I received replacement cables without any issues. They also included a small gift to compensate for the defective product.
Dave Eschrich, Germany, 5 stars, March 2026 · TrustpilotAdditionally my cables wore down already after 3 months already, and that brings me to customer support. Customer support, has been great! ... And I received replacement cables at no costs within a couple of days, as well as cable adapters that should prevent the next cables from wearing down so quickly.
Minhie, Netherlands, 5 stars, September 2025 · TrustpilotThere have been some issues with the cables, however, these have been replaced promptly after contacting customer service. I can’t fault the service I have received! ... Although I haven’t purchased the Wellness program, the machine is still fully functional without having to purchase the subscription.
Sue Wharton, United Kingdom, 5 stars, August 2025 · TrustpilotAfter two years, the machine functions just as well as it did when we got it. Customer service is very responsive and helpful. When we experienced a software issue, the issue was resolved promptly. They even sent out replacement cables when we enquired about doing preventative maintenance on our machine.
May Loke, Australia, 5 stars, two-year owner, January 2026 · TrustpilotNotice what these have in common: cables wear out, screens fail, boards die. Hardware breaks on every machine in this category, ours included. The difference a buyer should weigh is what happens next.

The Gym Monster 2 from Speediance is one of the most impressive smart strength training devices for home use currently available. It combines genuine, progressive strength training with an extremely space-saving design and sophisticated digital training control.
PCWorld, Christoph Hoffmann, 4.5/5, February 2026 · Read the reviewIt’s an impressive piece of hardware that delivers on its promise, and while it has some room for improvement, given how many workouts I’ve completed in just the time I’d have spent commuting to a gym and back, it’s hard to argue with the convenience and compact nature of the machine.
T3, Mark Knapp, 4/5, March 2025 · Read the reviewIn the Gym Monster 2, Speediance has created an outstanding all-in-one device that does away with the need to have separate weight machines in your personal gym.

Why people who bought one keep recommending it.
Hundreds of reviews across our regional Trustpilot profiles, rated 4.3 to 4.8. Here is a cross-section, unedited and linked.
Six months of ownership since then, and my wife and I both use it five times a week, and my kids use it too. We couldn’t be happier and are in the best shape of our lives... So glad we bought our machine and look forward to many more years of training.
Paul Arthur, United Kingdom, 5 stars, March 2026 · TrustpilotAfter two years, the machine functions just as well as it did when we got it... They even sent out replacement cables when we enquired about doing preventative maintenance on our machine. Just get the machine! You won’t regret it.
May Loke, Australia, 5 stars, two-year owner, January 2026 · TrustpilotI have since cancelled my gym membership as this machine covers everything I need. It really is a great piece of kit... The community support on social media is great. You will always get an answer for any queries, they are so supportive and friendly!
Sue Wharton, United Kingdom, 5 stars, August 2025 · TrustpilotI also really appreciated the possibility of having home support in case of any malfunctions... Even though I found the machine at a slightly lower price on other websites, knowing that I could rely on attentive and reliable support, especially considering the significant cost of the machine, made me feel much more confident.
Isabella, Italy, 5 stars, May 2026 · TrustpilotFrom start to finish my whole experience with speediance has been first class. Issues happen, it’s about how they’re dealt with and when I had a problem with the delivery it was sorted immediately, no fuss, no hesitation. And the machine itself...amazing!!!
Andy Cole, United Kingdom, 5 stars, October 2025 · TrustpilotI’ve been using my Speediance for about 3 months and use it every single day... I had an issue with the controller so contacted support and within 48hrs a new one arrived. I can only praise the support team in the UK as they’ve responded well every time I’ve had a query.

Where they beat us, and what reviewers criticise about ours.
A comparison that only flatters the seller is worth nothing. Here is the honest picture, including the parts we would rather not print.
Where the AEKE S1 Pro is better
- Bigger screen. 27 inches against our 21.5. Not close, and not disputable: both figures come from the two manufacturers' own pages.
- A built-in camera. Theirs is integrated into the machine, where ours uses the phone you already own. Speediance now offers the same capability through Sidekick, our AI training companion in Wellness+ beta: you position your phone so it can see you and the machine, and it recognises your movements in real time and mirrors them onto the Gym Monster screen. Built-in is tidier. Neither system's accuracy has been independently tested.
- More arm positions. AEKE claims 185 angle combinations including width adjustment, which our uprights do not offer.
- More in the box. Their complete set bundles a heart-rate armband and a body-composition scale. We sell those separately.
Where the Innodigym Omni X1 is better
- Assisted pull-ups. Its motors take weight off you rather than only adding it. We have no equivalent, and it is a genuinely good idea.
- Folds thinner on paper. A claimed 0.12 m2 against our measured 0.25 m2, though no one outside the company has folded one yet.
- More claimed resistance. 120 kg against our 100 kg on paper, although our GM2S already delivers the same 120 kg and, unlike theirs, has been shipping to customers for over a year.
- Isokinetic and spring modes that we do not offer.
What independent reviewers criticise about the Gym Monster 2
- connect.de, whose overall verdict is still "very good", is blunt about the interface: "Der hakelige Touchscreen, das stellenweise überladene Menü und der zu leichtgängige Bluetooth-Ring trüben einen ansonsten sehr überzeugenden Gesamteindruck". The touchscreen can be fiddly, the menus overloaded, and the Bluetooth ring too easy to trigger.
- heise found the software rough in places: automatically translated exercise names are sometimes hard to understand, and scrolling while building your own plan can select an exercise by accident.
- Every outlet raises the same ceiling: 100 kg total is plenty for most people but not for heavy squats and deadlifts. Serious powerlifters are better served by a barbell, and we would tell you the same in the showroom.
- Tom's Guide flagged that the machine is heavy and does not anchor to a wall, and urged caution around small children.
Competitor figures above are manufacturer claims. Neither the S1 Pro nor the Omni X1 has been independently tested by anyone, because neither had shipped in volume when those specifications were published.
Where we win on raw specification, not service: we fold smaller than the S1 Pro (0.25 m2 against 0.31), we support unlimited user profiles against their nine, we offer a chains mode neither competitor has, we cost roughly a thousand dollars less than the S1 Pro, our Sidekick companion brings real-time movement tracking to the machine you already own, and we are the only one of the three whose numbers anyone outside the company has actually been able to test.

Which setup do you actually need?
Every configuration is the same machine with the same 2-year warranty and the same service. The only difference is what comes with it. Prices are live from this store and include VAT.

What you are actually risking.
Will it fit, and how loud is it?

On noise, the honest answer is that nobody has published a decibel measurement. The most detailed German long-term test describes it as "fast flüsterleise", almost whisper-quiet, with only a soft hum from the motors. There are no weight stacks to clang, which is the usual complaint from people living below a home gym.
Two practical warnings we would rather you hear now: delivery arrives as a heavy pallet, so allow for two people getting it inside, and while one person can roll the assembled machine around a room, one person cannot carry it up a staircase.

Six questions to ask before buying any smart gym
We're happy to answer all six. In person.
FAQ
Do I need a subscription?
No. The Gym Monster 2 works fully without any subscription: 500+ movements, 200+ workouts and 100+ programs are included free, for unlimited users. Wellness+ is an optional AI-coach tier.
What does the warranty cover?
24 months on the machine and 12 months on accessories, with in-home service by certified technicians. Wear items such as resistance cables are consumables on every digital gym, ours included; during warranty Speediance supplies replacement material. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. Visit us at Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, Selfridges London or KaDeWe Berlin, or book a virtual demo.
How does delivery work?
Free delivery in 3 to 5 days from our German warehouse. It arrives as a heavy pallet, so allow for two people to get it inside.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Klarna is available at checkout, splitting the cost into 3 interest-free payments with no fees.
How much space does it need, and is it loud?
Open it measures 122 x 69 x 185 cm, where 122 cm is the depth into the room. Folded it is 37 cm deep and takes about 0.25 m2 of floor, and it rolls on built-in wheels. It runs from a standard wall socket. No independent decibel measurement has been published, but German long-term testing describes it as almost whisper-quiet, with no weight stacks to clang.
Does the Gym Monster 2 track my form?
Yes, through Sidekick, our AI training companion included with Wellness+ and currently in beta. In Free Lift mode you position your phone so its camera can see both you and the machine. Sidekick recognises your movements in real time, currently around 70 of them, and mirrors them onto the Gym Monster screen so you can watch yourself train and review every rep. It works with the GM1, GM2 and GM2S. Form correction is on the roadmap rather than in the product today.
Is the Gym Monster 2 right for a serious powerlifter?
Honestly, not on its own. Total resistance is 100 kg, or 120 kg on the GM2S, which every independent reviewer agrees is plenty for most training but not for heavy squats and deadlifts. If your programme is built around maximal barbell work, a barbell and rack will serve you better, and we would tell you that in the showroom rather than after delivery.
Talk to a human.
Real machines on real floors, staffed by people who train on them. Walk in, pull real weight, ask hard questions.
